No, Pixie Wash is meant to be a quick cleanser for your cup or disc. It does not replace the need to sterilize your cup/disc before and after your period. To sterilize your cup or disc, you will want to boil it in water or use our Pixie Cup Steamer or UV Sterilizer.

Rinse your cup/disc with cool water and apply cleanser. Rub the cup/disc with your fingers until all residue is gone.Fill the cup with water and cleanser, place your palm over the cup to create a seal, and SQUEEZE! This forces water and soap to exit through the suction holes around the top, so you get those clean too.
