Yes! Both Sodium Percarbonate and Sodium Carbonate are rated an A on EWG. Pixie Cup Dust is eco-friendly, septic-safe, and cruelty-free!

Is it normal for my menstrual cup to be stained?

Yes! Menstrual cup stains are very common and are a badge of honor in a way… It shows a lot of use, how you’ve dedicated your cycle to less waste (think of all the products you’ve kept out of landfills!), and that you’ve made the stand to live free. Still, if stains are an eyesore to you, Pixie Cup Dust is for you, friend.

How often can Pixie Cup Dust be used?

Pixie Cup Dust should only be used as needed to remove the accumulation of stains on menstrual cups/discs.This is not meant to be used as a daily cleaner.

Can Pixie Cup Dust be used to remove stains on cloth pads?

Absolutely! Just mix the packets as directed and soak the stained pads for 6-8 hours. We recommend thoroughly rinsing blood stains with cold water before using hot water. Cold water is superior when it comes to removing blood stains.

Can I use Pixie Cup Dust to sterilize my cup/disc?

No, Pixie Cup Dust is not meant to be used as a sterilizer. You will still need to sterilize your cup either by boiling it in a pot or using our Pixie Steamer at the beginning and end of your period.

Can I add Pixie Cup Dust to the Steamer?

No, this is not recommended.

Can I use Pixie Cup Dust on latex products or products that aren’t 100% medical grade silicone?

Yes, Pixie Cup Dust ingredients are very gentle and can be used on latex, rubber, silicone, and cloth.
