Yes, the Ginny Sterilizer can sterilize up to two menstrual cups or discs at a time.

The Ginny has three sterilizing cycles. The Steam Cycle runs about 5 minutes. And there are two boils cycles - a 15 minute cycle and a 20 minute cycle. These are indicated on the front of the Ginny.

Yes! It’s important to put enough water in the base of the Sterilizer to last the whole cycle you select. But, if there isn’t enough water to run the whole cycle, the Ginny will automatically shut off its heat function. The red light will turn off indicating that the heating element has shut off, but you will still hear the timer ticking down until time runs out.

Fill the Ginny Sterilizer with distilled water and a teaspoon of white vinegar. Run the 15 minute boil cycle to disperse the vinegar through all system components, then empty the reservoir. Then, use a cotton swab dampened with white vinegar to tackle any other build-up along the reservoir walls. Air dry and then run a normal cycle.Between uses, use the provided brush to remove any dust or debris from the base of the sterilizer.
